On November 12th, 2025, The Carroll County Sheriff's Office, along with the United States Marshal's Service, arrested Hunter Seitz, 31, of Berryville on outstanding Carroll County felony warrants as well as a federal indictment.

On June 26th, 2025, the Carroll County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division, supported by the Criminal Investigations and Patrol Divisions, executed a search warrant at Seitz's residence in rural Berryville, seizing narcotics, illegal firearms, firearm accessories, and items commonly used for packaging and distribution of narcotics. Seitz, who is a convicted felon, was arrested and charged in Carroll County Circuit Court.

On July 28th, 2025, the Carroll County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division, in conjunction with Arkansas Department of Community Corrections and Carroll County Sheriff's Office Patrol Division, conducted a follow-up investigation and seized more illegally possessed firearms and methamphetamine.

The Narcotics Division of the Sheriff's Office referred the case to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives, who then subsequently referred the case to the United States Attorney's Office of Western Arkansas.

A grand jury federally indicted Seitz, and an arrest warrant was issued out of the Western District of Arkansas.

Criminal Charges are mere allegations, and all suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
