The Carroll County Sheriff's Office and the Carroll County Jail doesn't, has not, and will not accept any form of payment for releasing persons in custody via PayPal, CashApp, Bitcoin, or any other form of "Gift Card".

If you are contacted by ANYONE representing themselves as members of law enforcement requesting payment for the release of any person(s) in our custody, please contact the Sheriff's Department directly.
